To be noted, it doesn't fire directly at them, but sweeps the area around the target, like a radar. The Lunar Portal Staff summons this wierd mass of electrical-thingy-stuff that shoots Phantasmal Beams at your enemies. I noticed though that if you summon it next to your target 2 times quickly in a row, it actually deals its labeled damage. The problem is, it shoots them behind the targets, so you almost never get any hits. The Rainbow Crystal Staff summons a Rainbow Crystal that shoots smaller crystals at enemies that can act as land mines. (Fact: I have over 37 of these stupid spell tomes. It has a fair firing speed, and a fair mana cost as well. It deals multiple hits and can do it on multiple targets. The Lunar Flare shoots 'Lunar Flares' that can go through blocks and can be summoned anywhere on your screen. When the beams combine is the best A total of 600 DAMAGE! Anything in those beams will be roasted to peices! The one flaw is, it chews up so much mana! You'll probably run out of mana in 5 or less seconds. HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?! It's the amazing, unbeatable, LAST PRISM! It is just amazing! It has INSANE damage and has infinite piercing. The Celebration, what more do I need to say? Shoots rockets that turn into fireworks and deal massive damage. It was an item before, but was only availiable to the verified people who worked on the game. It is like the MegaShark with better damage, speed, ammo preservation, and overall badass feeling to it. S.D.M.G is the Space Dolphin Machine Gun. It shoots clusters of extremely destructive stars at rapid speeds like Meowmere. The Star Wrath proved that the Star Fury would get revenge over you throwing it away (Most likely you did). The Terrarian is considerably the best Yo-yo in the game and shoot projectiles that, like the Meowmere, deal the same base damage. It has a great fire speed and damage output too. Meowmere is a great sword that shoots Nyan-Cat like projectiles that deal the same base damage as the sword itself. Luminite Bars are the main material for making end-game armour, like Vortex, Solar, Nebula, and Stardust armours. Luminite is the ore that create Luminite Bars. Greater Healling Potions should already be known by you. It is an obvious reference to the amazing game of Portal by VALVe. The Portal Gun is a 100% drop that does what it's named it create two portals that you can walk through.

The total defense of the Spectre Armour is low, which is why is suggest all of the accessories to be 'Warding' so that it offsets the low defense. This allows you to heal yourself as long as the 'Moon Bite' debuff is not active. Now, I use Nebula Armour, but before, I used Spectre Armour with the hood. Have around 5 Greater Healing Potions too. Lasly, include a Mana Flower with at least 10 or more stacks of Greater Mana Potions. Also have a Star Cloak to keep Cthulu from damaging you rapidly. It summons a ridable UFO mount that has infinite flight and acceptable speed. It was told to use the Cosmic Car key from the UFO in the Martian Madness event. As my friend advised, you do not want to use wings, because you will already be using a flying mount. It's every non-debuff accessory combined with an obsidian shield. The Ankh Shield is optional, but I still use it. Have the Charm of Myths (Band of Regeneration + Philosopher's Stone) in handy so that you can use healing potions in emergencies and regenerate health. I suggest getting the Worm Scarf which comes from the Eater of Worlds at expert difficulty. You can gain this from reforging at the goblin tinkerer. First and most importantly, every accessory should be 'Warding', which adds +4 defense.
Beating Moon Lord for the first time is a challenge and you need the right weapons and accessories for it.
